Start your tour in Cairo with the Mosque of Amr ibn al-As, the oldest mosque in Africa, known for its simplicity and early Islamic design. Continue to Al-Azhar Mosque, a center of Islamic learning for over a thousand years, blending spiritual significance with scholarly history. Explore the Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, one of the finest examples of Mamluk architecture.
Then, move to the Hanging Church, one of the oldest and most famous Coptic churches, built on the remains of two Roman towers. Visit the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, believed to have sheltered the Holy Family during their journey in Egypt.
